HE the Minister of Transport Jassim Seif Ahmed al-Sulaiti paid a visit to the Port of Kish Island and the Kish Airport expansion project. He was accompanied by Iran's Minister of Roads and Urban Development, Rostam Ghasemi. Professionals from the two projects briefed HE al-Sulaiti on different aspects and components of the tourist port of Kish Island, its operational processes and cruise ship traffic there, the Ministry of Transport said in a statement on Monday. They also briefed him on Kish Airport's services and expansion phases. Qatar’s ambassador to Iran Mohamed bin Hamad al-Hajri, director of the Asian Affairs Department at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Yousef Sultan Larem, and several senior transportation officials from both countries participated in the visit.
