Ooredoo has announced it is sponsoring the Ministry of Social Development and Family’s ‘One Million Steps’ campaign.
Highlighting the benefits of including sport in an active family life, One Million Steps encourages families to get active together by offering rewards for taking steps.
Families can join the campaign at Mall of Qatar, Doha Festival City, and Aspire Zone by scanning the QR code at each location, registering their info, choosing their pledges, and walking. On their return to the campaign booth, they will receive their rewards, which will be vouchers from different sponsors.
Ooredoo CEO Sheikh Mohamed bin Abdulla al-Thani joined HE the Minister of Social Development and Family Maryam bint Ali bin Nasser al-Misnad during the campaign recently.
Sheikh Mohamed said: “We are delighted to extend our support to the Ministry of Social Development and Family in this campaign. We are committed to supporting the communities in which we operate as a part of our corporate social responsibility strategy, and committed to supporting the UN Sustainable Development Goal of health and wellbeing for all. We hope everyone joins in the campaign and gets walking.”
