Ooredoo has announced it is sponsoring the Ooredoo League for the Children of Al Freij.
Organised by Lusail Sports Club, Qatar Sports for All Federation, Simaisma, Al Daayen Youth Centre, Aspire, and Generation Amazing, the League caters to children aged 10-14 and consists of 29 teams in four age groups, with matches – from group stages to a final – held at the Lusail Sports Club stadiums.
The League aims to reinforce the many benefits of including physical activity as an essential part of a healthy lifestyle, and to impart to the young players the life and social skills with which sport is associated.
Ooredoo CSR (corporate social responsibility), Sponsorship and Media director Moza Khalid al-Muhannadi said: “We’re delighted to be supporting the young people of our communities with this latest CSR initiative.”
“This initiative is a great way to enable young people in our communities to take up a sport, keep a healthy lifestyle and learn a wide variety of skills,” the official added. “We wish all the teams the very best of luck!”
