The livestock department has completed vaccination of livestock at West Al Wakra barns' complex against the foot and mouth disease and pleuro-pneumonia, as part of accomplishing the national vaccination campaign against such diseases. The campaign covered 275 barns vaccinating 22,045 goats and sheep and 1,183 cows against the foot and mouth disease, and 9,721 goats against pneumonia throughout the third week of March. The campaign is also continuing at the barns' complexes at Abu Nakhla, Al Sheehaniya and Al Kheraib.
