Ooredoo has announced a Ramadan campaign for its loyalty programme, Nojoom. Members shopping with participating partners during Ramadan – Titanium, Yateem Optician, Joyalukkas and Magrabi – will earn triple their regular points on all purchases made until May 2, meaning they can earn up to six Nojoom Points for every QR1 spent. Members can also win 250,000 Nojoom Points every week during Ramadan by participating in the weekly Ramadan quiz via Instagram. They must answer the weekly quiz question correctly to enter the draw, and each week one lucky winner will walk away with 250,000 Nojoom Points.
Nojoom Members are also encouraged to donate their Nojoom Points during the holy month to help partner charities support those in need the year round, Ooredoo has said in a statemnent. Members can donate their Nojoom Points to a number of Qatari charitable organisations quickly and easily, by redeeming their points for a charity redemption. They can choose to donate their points to Qatar Charity, Qatar Red Crescent Society, Education Above All Foundation, Silatech and Qatar Cancer Society.
To donate, members need simply log into their Nojoom account via the Ooredoo app or at ooredoo.qa, and then select the charity redemption option of their choice. Sabah Rabiah al-Kuwari – director of PR at Ooredoo - said: “Ramadan is a time for giving back. It’s always a huge priority for us to ensure our loyal Nojoom Members feel valued and appreciated, but especially at this time of year. Working with our esteemed partners, we’re delighted to be able to offer our members more rewards than ever. We’re also proud to be providing the opportunity for them, in turn, to give back by donating their points to good causes. We hope our members enjoy shopping with our partners, and on behalf of our charity partners, thank everyone for their generous donations.” More information on the Nojoom Ramadan campaign can be found at ooredoo.qa/nojoom
