The Discover Qatar webpage for 'Visa on Arrival' hotel booking for Indian, Iranian and Pakistani nationals has been removed from the website for now.
It is not clear whether the new policy has been suspended or the webpage is temporarily down.
As per a Discover Qatar helpline agent, the webpage is down for maintenance and will be updated once they receive further instructions from the Ministry of Interior.
On Tuesday (April 5), it was announced that Indian, Pakistani and Iranian nationals will have to mandatorily book a hotel through Discover Qatar for the full length of their stay to avail of the ‘Visa on Arrival’ facility in Qatar, effective from April 14. If the policy is scrapped, those who booked hotels through Discover Qatar on Tuesday will be fully refunded, according to the agent.
