The administration urged the public to cooperate to maintain public cleanliness and to place waste in the designated containers.

Meanwhile, the Department of Services Affairs in Al Wakra Municipality carried out a disinfection campaign while covering all the facilities of the Al Wakra Central Market. During the campaign seterilisation activities were held at the automated slaughterhouse, the livestock market, the community market and slaughterhouses receiving halls while other facilities within the buildings of the central market were also sterilised.
The statement said that the campaign comes within the framework of the municipality’s preparations to receive the holy month of Ramadan, preserve public health, and in the interest of the public’s safety during the holy month, as part of the precautionary and preventive measures to confront the Covid-19.
