HE the Assistant Foreign Minister Lolwah bint Rashid Al Khater met with the Under-Secretary of State for Foreign and Security Policy in the Ministry for Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Finland Kai Sauer, the president of Finnish Qatari Association Rita Tainola and the Ambassador of the Republic of Finland to Qatar Pekka Voutilainen.
During the meeting, they reviewed bilateral cooperation relations, especially in the field of energy, in addition to discussing the latest developments in the Afghan file, the Russian-Ukrainian crisis, and several issues of common interest.
Kai Sauer expressed Finland's appreciation to Qatar for its efforts aimed at achieving peace and stability in Afghanistan.
