The Public Works Authority (Ashghal) has announced a temporary closure on part of Rawdat Umm Al Salam Street and part of Wadi Al-Askar Street in Al Kharaitiyat in both directions from 6am on Tuesday for six days. The closure in coordination with the General Directorate of Traffic is to complete the laying of the final asphalt layer (wearing course) on the street, as part of Roads and Infrastructure in Al Kharaitiyat and Izghawa Project- Package 1.
During the closure, users of Rawdat Umm Al Salam Street heading towards Al Kharaitiyat Street will have to use Street 54, then head towards Wadi Al Askar Street, then turn left towards Street 55 and turn right onto Al Kharaitiyat Street.
Road users coming from Al Kharaitiyat Street towards Rawdat Umm Al Salam Street, have to turn right towards Street 55, then turn right towards Wadi Al Askar Street and then turn left towards Street 54 to reach Rawdat Umm Al Salam Street as shown on the map.
During the closure, users of Rawdat Umm Al Salam Street heading towards Al Kharaitiyat Street will have to use Street 54, then head towards Wadi Al Askar Street, then turn left towards Street 55 and turn right onto Al Kharaitiyat Street.
Road users coming from Al Kharaitiyat Street towards Rawdat Umm Al Salam Street, have to turn right towards Street 55, then turn right towards Wadi Al Askar Street and then turn left towards Street 54 to reach Rawdat Umm Al Salam Street as shown on the map.
