Following the meeting, HE the Minister of State for Cabinet Affairs Mohammed bin Abdullah Al Sulaiti issued the following statement:
The Council considered the topics on the agenda as follows:
First- The Cabinet was informed of the Shura Council's approval of a draft law regulating the ownership of the real estate in the State by diplomatic and consular missions.
Second- The Cabinet approved - in principle - a draft law repealing Law No. 7 of 1991 regarding imposing a fee on obtaining certificates issued by the Ministry of Defense.
Third - The Cabinet took the necessary measures to ratify the maritime transport agreement between the Government of the State of Qatar and the Government of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
Fourth - The Cabinet approved a draft agreement between the government of Qatar and the government of the Republic of Burundi on regulating the employment of Burundian workers in the State of Qatar.
Fifth - The Cabinet reviewed the annual report of the Qatar General Authority for Standardization and Metrology for 2021 and took the appropriate decision in this regard.
