HE the Minister of Culture Sheikh Abdulrahman bin Hamad al-Thani affirmed that the Seminar Series, launched by the Ministry on Thursday in partnership with Qatar University and the Arab Center for Research and Policy Studies, aims to establish a culture that accepts differences in viewpoints, to enrich cultural life. In a speech during the seminar "Human or Local Identities? Culture and Multiple Identities", His Excellency said that the Ministry of Culture is saving these ideas and visions for consideration, praising the efforts of the partners as well as the participating researchers who enriched the symposium with useful contributions.
The seminar was hosted by the Doha Institute for Graduate Studies was attended by the writer Professor Abdulaziz al-Khater, Dr Haider Saeed, Head of the Research Department at the Arab Center for Research and Policy Studies, and Dr Amal Ghazal, Dean of the College of Social Sciences and Humanities at the Doha Institute for Graduate Studies, and moderated by Hassan Al-Saei. In the presence of a large number of cultural and academic elites and scholars, who enriched the seminar with their views.
