General Tax Authority and Regularity Authority for Charitable Activities (RACA) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on combating money laundering, terrorist financing, and tax evasion. The MoU was signed by President of the General Tax Authority Ahmed bin Issa al-Mohannadi and General Manager of RACA Ibrahim Abdulla al-Dehaimi. The MoU aims to strengthen co-ordination, co-operation, and exchange of information between the two sides to prevent and deter the misuse of non-profit organisations in committing money laundering, terrorist financing, and tax evasion crimes.
