The Ministry of Interior has launched some new services on the Metrash2 app, QNA reported.
With this, the total number of services provided through the application has reached 290, as part of the ministry's efforts to enhance its electronic services to the public, in order to achieve its strategy and contribute to achieving Qatar National Vision 2030.
These include some services of the Recruitment Applications Review Committee, Visa Services and Establishment Registration Service.
The 'Visa Services' window on Metrash2 will allow one to complete the Exceptional Visa Extension Service for Businessmen Visa, Official Visa and Tourist Visa. This service allows extending some types of Visit Visas as per the specified conditions. The applicant shall explain the case and attach the required documents. The application will be assessed electronically.
Changing the Sponsor for Family Relationships: the 'Residency Services' window on Metrash2 allows one to complete the Employer Change — Family Relationship service. Expatriates under family sponsorship can take advantage of this service to change their sponsorship to another family member. The new host has to submit the application for sponsorship change and attach the required documents.

If conditions are met, the host can apply for a Family Visit Visa of the same type, issued to the mother, for the newborn baby.
Service for Changing Personal Employer and Those on Similar Status (Farms, Fishing Boats): the 'Residency Services' window on Metrash2 allows one to access and complete the 'Employer Change' service. This service is available for personal employers and those on their status, such as owners of farms and fishing boats. The new employer has to submit the application for employer change and attach the required documents.
Commercial Establishment Registration Service: the 'General Services' window allows one to access and complete the commercial establishment registration service in simple steps. It allows the opening of establishment registration for government, semi-government and private companies as per the specified terms and conditions.
