The 9th Qatar International Agricultural Exhibition (AgriteQ) and the 3rd International Environmental Exhibition (EnviroteQ) witnessed on Friday a good turnout of workers and specialists in the agriculture and environment sectors to learn about the latest products, meet producers, suppliers, and decision-makers of specialised ministries, discuss the needs of the local and regional market, review the most important technologies adopted in the two sectors, and learn about innovations in sustainable development.
The exhibitions attracted many people from various countries.
Officials and experts stressed that this wide participation, including from the Gulf states, reflects the great interest of these bodies and companies in such events as the widest window for sharing experiences and knowledge on agricultural and environmental solutions, the latest trends and technologies in these two vital sectors that are mainly related to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and food security in the region, and promoting their products.
The five-day exhibitions are expected to witness the conclusion of major deals, whether between government agencies and private sector companies or between Gulf and international investors. – QNA
