As Covid curbs are eased, MoPH stresses need to follow precautionary measures

With the lifting of more Covid-19 restrictions from Saturday, the Ministry of Public Health (MoPH) has urged the public to adhere to the precautionary measures to continue to protect themselves and the community from the risk of infection.

The measures are as follows:
* Receiving the Covid-19 vaccination doses.
* Wearing a mask indoors and in gatherings in open spaces, such as sports tournaments, concerts, exhibitions, etc, and also for people whose nature of work requires working in open spaces and dealing with the public, such as hospitality and security staff.
* Conducting weekly rapid antigen testing of unvaccinated persons to allow them to enter workplaces and schools.
* Maintaining a distance of 1m between people wherever possible. Continuing to regularly wash and disinfect hands.
* Following cough etiquette.
* Regularly cleaning and disinfecting all touched surfaces.
