Ooredoo has announced that its Nojoom Points donation drive, held in collaboration with Qatar Cancer Society, has once again been a huge success. In honour of World Cancer Day 2022, members were encouraged to donate their Nojoom Points to Qatar Cancer Society in order to help the organisation continue its efforts to fight cancer. The charity’s work includes raising awareness, encouraging early detection and enabling access to treatment.
This year’s donation drive reached a grand total of 3mn Nojoom Points, and once again exceeded the initial target of 2mn Nojoom points, contributing to the valuable work of Qatar Cancer Society and helping to #closethecaregap.
Sabah Rabiah al-Kuwari, director of PR at Ooredoo, said: “We were delighted to be reprising our popular campaign enabling our Nojoom members to donate their points to such a worthy cause, and once again overwhelmed with the incredible generosity shown by members. Supporting the communities in which we operate, and promoting health for all, are key priorities of our corporate social responsibility strategy and we thank each and every member who selflessly donated their points and enabled us to support Qatar Cancer Society so solidly again this year.”
