Members of the alumni of the Qatar Leadership Centre (QLC) recently participated in a high-level dialogue with Namibia President Hage Geingob on the sidelines of his official visit to Qatar.
The special session, “Horizons of Economic Relations between Namibia and Qatar”, focused on the importance of economic co-operation between Qatar and Namibia.
Geingob shared insights on the future of his country’s energy sector and on investments between the two nations, and outlined the importance of investing in education and human capacity-building for a nation’s economic growth.
QLC said that the special dialogue with the Namibian president illustrates the centre’s continuing commitment to its participants and alumni, strengthening their skills in diplomacy, foreign policy, business and other fields, while facilitating the transfer of knowledge and global best practice to future leaders.
