The Public Works Authority (Ashghal) has announced a temporary closure of Wadi Al-Askar Street in both directions from 6am on March 3 for eight days. The closure in co-ordination with the General Directorate of Traffic aims to complete asphalt works on the street, as part of the Roads and Infrastructure Project in Al Kharaitiyat and Izghawa, Package 1.
During the closure period, motorists heading towards Wadi Al-Askar Street will have to use Izghawa Street or Rawdat Umm Al Salam Street to reach Street 63 and from there to their destinations, or use Al Kharaitiyat Street and turn towards Street 55 and continue to their destinations, as shown on the map.
Ashghal will install road signs advising motorists of the temporary closure and requested all to follow them and abide by the speed limit to ensure safety.
