The second national university in the country has been announced with the University of Doha for Science and Technology (UDST) established through the Amiri Decision No 13 of 2022.

The official announcement was made at a press conference Monday in the presence of HE Dr Mohammed bin Saleh al-Sada, chairman of UDST Board of Trustees and former Minister of Energy and Salem al-Naemi, UDST president.
UDST is the first national applied university in Qatar.
