It is a wonderful event and I extend my best wishes to ISC and all the participating teams.”
He also disclosed that more sports activities will be held by ISC in the upcoming months. “There is a big potential to promote sports here (in Qatar) as this is a sports capital over years and this year is special with FIFA (World Cup) around the corner. Congratulations to ISC for putting forth this wonderful event of sports and also for the series of other events which are being planned and executed in the upcoming months,” he added.
ISC president Dr Mohan Thomas, who has conceptualised the event, said that the ISC Cricket Super Cup is to celebrate Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav.
