A new functionality has been added to the Ehteraz portal to enable citizens and residents, who have received Covid-19 vaccination outside Qatar to apply to have their vaccination approved and reflected in Ehteraz as a golden frame. The Ministry of Public Health (MoPH) on Thursday announced that Covid-19 vaccination certificates uploaded in Ehteraz will be validated and verified, and only those which are valid will be accepted and reflected in Ehteraz. Vaccinations from abroad will have the same validity criteria applied to them as those from within Qatar, as well as follow the same rules related to fully approved and conditionally approved vaccines. Process for visitors to Qatar have not changed, and they must follow the same protocol for entry into Qatar as previously through the Ehteraz portal, the MoPH added.
