A ceremony to celebrate the National Day of Japan in Qatar, which also marked the 62nd birthday of the Emperor of Japan, was held yesterday at Marsa Malaz Kempinski.  Japanese ambassador Satoshi Maeda led the celebration and was joined by Minister of Environment and Climate Change HE Sheikh Dr Faleh bin Nasser bin Ahmed bin Ali al-Thani, Singapore ambassador Jai S Sohan (chairman of Asian Ambassadors' Group), and Ministry of Foreign Affairs Deputy Chief of Protocol Saied AlHajri at the cake-cutting ceremony. The event also highlighted the strong bilateral relations between Qatar and Japan.
