The Public Works Authority (Ashghal) has announced an eight hour overnight closure from 2 am to 8 am on February 18 on Sabah Al Ahmad Corridor at Bu Hamour to traffic towards Hamad International Airport. During the closure traffic will be shifted onto the parallel service roads. The closure that will be implemented in coordination with the General Directorate of Traffic has been announced in order to install signage gantries.
During the closure, drivers coming from from Haloul Intersection or the Cable Stayed Bridge toward HIA are required to the southern service road and local approaches to join Mesaimeer Bridge on Sabah Al Ahmad Bridge to get to their destinations.
Ashghal will install road signs advising motorists of the temporary closure and requested all to follow them and abide by the speed limit to ensure safety.
