The Ministry of Public Health on Monday released a new Ehteraz update that features prominently the 'Recovered' status.
Individuals infected with Covid-19 in the past nine months will have the icon displayed in Ehteraz. An official test result at an approved medical facility is required to confirm the Recovered status, the MoPH said. Rapid antigen self-tests are not valid, added the Ministry.
Individuals who have recovered from Covid-19 in the past 9 months are eligible for the same privileges as vaccinated individuals have under the Covid-19 restrictions and can they can show their Recovered Status icon to prove their eligibility.
The MoPH also reminded that individuals who received their second dose
more than 9 months ago and have not had a booster dose will lose their Golden Frame, for the health status image in the app. The Golden Frame is confirmation of vaccination status, not Recovered Status, MoPH added.
