HE the Speaker of the Shura Council Hassan bin Abdullah al-Ghanim met on Sunday with the visiting Chair of the All-Party Parliamentary British-Qatar Group Alun Cairns and the accompanying delegation. The meeting reviewed the existing parliamentary co-operation between Qatar and the UK, and ways to enhance them. It also discussed ways to strengthen and deepen bilateral relations between parliamentary friendship groups in the Shura Council and the UK. The meeting was attended by HE the Deputy Speaker of the Shura Council Dr Hamda bint Hassan al-Sulaiti and a number of members of the Council.
