Qatar Museums (QM) has said it is seeking to identify and appoint suitable vendors for operating food trucks and a mini-market kiosk at the Museum of Islamic Art (MIA) Park.
In an "open call" published in the local media, Qatar Museums said there are three spots reserved for food trucks while one spot is available for a mini-market kiosk. "Want to operate your food truck or mini-market kiosk in the Museum of Islamic Art Park? This is your opportunity to bring your menu to more people," QM states on its website.
The food truck concept categories are as follows: food truck concept 1 - burger menu; food truck concept 2 - karak and chapati; and food truck concept 3 - South Asian.
Bidding operators will be evaluated based on the strength of concept (including menu, prices, creativity, etc); design and setup; product quality; and marketing and promotional strategy. Experience in running food and beverage outlets is a plus.
Those interested have to register at https://qm.org.qa/en/calendar/open-call-food-truck/
