This week, Qatar cinemas will showcase a group of international films screened in various theatres worldwide, ranging from science fiction, suspense, comedy and action films, QNA reported.
The science fiction and suspense movie film to be shown this week is the "Last Survivors". The events of the film revolve around a confrontation and conflict between a father and a son, as they escape far away and live in an off-network range and for 20 years. Exciting events escalate when a person suddenly appears threatening to destroy the Utopia they built. The film is directed by Drew Mylrea, and starring Mark Famiglietti, Simon Lees and Alicia Silverstone.
The comedy film "The Hating Game" will also be shown. Its events revolve around a girl named Lucy who is determined to achieve success in her career and maintain her principles in life, with a person who becomes an enemy before he becomes a close friend. The film has in starring roles Austin Stowell, Corbin Bernsen, Yasha Jackson, and it is directed by Peter Hutchings.
Qatari cinemas will also witness the Arab film "Mohemmah Mush Rasmiyah" screening, which is classified as a comedy and action film. It is about a young man who has brothers and dreams of becoming one of the biggest race drivers in the world. The film is directed by Ayman al-Ali, and starring Bayoumi Fouad, Hala Fakher, Ahmed Fathi and Yasser al-Tobji.
The Arab comedy film "Nile Crocodiles" will also be shown. Its events revolve around a trip on a boat in the Nile River. An unexpected fraud occurs for one of the passengers, and thereafter the events follow in a comic framework to reveal the truth.The film is directed by Sameh Abdulaziz. (
