Ashghal, through its social media platforms, informed that main works finished on the Al Sadd and Joan Streets and works are underway on internal streets and beautification works. The works are scheduled to be completed by the end of the first quarter of 2022.


About remaining works, Eng. Ali Sami Jamal, Project Engineer in Roads Projects Department, said that they include asphalt final layer, beautification works, interlock, street lighting, road marks and signs as well as pedestrian paths. Upon completion of all works, the project will upgrade 3.2km of Al Sadd and Joan Streets along with Al Sadd Intersection to enhance traffic flow.



It will also upgrade the service road and infrastructure utility services and provide 6.4 km of pedestrian paths.
