The Ministry of Environment and Climate Change (MoECC) on Monday said the Natural Reserves Patrols of the Ministry has detected 8 violations of environmental regulations in Rawdat Al Sukhaybariya in Al Reem Biosphere Reserve.
Legal measures have been taken against those who entered the parks and reserves in vehicles, in violation of Law No. 32 of 1995, on Preventing Damage of Plant Environment and its Components, MoECC said in a tweet.
The Ministry reiterated, that it will not hesitate to take all measures against the violations that destroy Qatar's environment.
It also called on the public to cooperate, by reporting any infringement that violates the environment, by calling the unified call center at phone number 184.
