Leading hypermarket chain Safari launched the Kebab & Biryani Festival and Rice Bazar promotion on Sunday.
The Kebab & Biryani Festival is being held in the Safari bakery and hot food section, aiming to cater to food lovers with a variety of flavours.
For the festival, Safari has prepared 35 biryani dishes and 25 kebab dishes, which are available at "very low prices for customers", according to a press statement.
"Under the supervision of expert chefs, Safari offers the opportunity to experience the flavours of kebabs and biryani from around the world. That is why many customers have already reached out to Safari outlets for this," the statement notes.
Mushroom Biryani, Lucknow Gosht Biryani, Thalassery Chicken Dum Biryani, Shrimp Biryani and Harkamas Biryani as well as kebabs such as Chicken Tangdi Kebab, Murg Ankara Kebab, Banjara Kebab, Musk Kebab and Fish Lasooni are on offer, among others.
Along with this, the Rice Bazar promotion is a "unique initiative" through which Safari is offering hundreds of varieties of rice and rice products at "very affordable prices".
Safari offers biryani rice from leading brands such as Supreme, Rosana, Nur Jahan, India Gate and Kohinoor, as well as long-grain rice from companies such as Majestic, Sona Masoori, Navara and Thali, and various varieties of brown rice.
Five kilos of Rozana basmati rice is available for QR22.75 (for three days), five kilos of Mammas Sona Ponni Rice for QR19 and five kilos of Ola Jasmine Rice for QR17.75.
Also, a variety of Parboiled Rice, Ponni Rice and Cumin Rice are available as part of the promotion. At the same time, four kilos of Selwa Palakkad Brown Rice is available for QR11.
The list extends to healthy white/brown rice flakes, rice powder, pathiri powder, puttu powder, idly batter, dosa batter, bread batter, rice biscuit, rice noodles and rice vermicelli, etc.
