Award-winning Cantonese restaurant, Hakkasan Doha at St Regis Doha gets ready to celebrate the Chinese New Year in style, by paying homage to The Year of the Tiger, starting January 31 until February 13.
The restaurant will be offering guests a special edition menu featuring exclusive dishes, a dessert along with tiger-inspired beverages, according to a statement.

The Chinese New Year menu will be priced at QR448, for a minimum of two guests, starting with a drink and ‘Yu Sheng’ smoked Salmon salad, and the Trio Happiness Dim Sum Platter, comprising a baked truffle duck puff, tiger prawn dumpling, and wild mushroom puff.
The main dishes include the Salt Crust Fortune Baked Chicken with chestnut, shiitake mushroom and bamboo shoot, plus Wok-fry Wild Seabass with enoki mushroom and spicy sesame soy. A gold tiger striped-Orange Dark Chocolate Firecracker and Mandarin Sorbet with orange curd, orange compote, orange madeleine and chocolate mousse will mark the end of the luxurious feast.
Executive chef Andrew Yeo from Hakkasan’s London outpost has forged a reputation for his fine cuisine using only the finest, meticulously sourced ingredients for elegant dishes with carefully balanced flavours. Each dish presented is a masterpiece of its own kind where he treats each ingredient with care and passion to allow them to shine in his dishes.
Diners will witness the gradual change of the restaurant’s interior throughout the duration of the holiday, as wishing ribbons will be distributed to each guest to hang throughout. Guests will write down their wishes for 2022 and hang them inside the restaurant through special strings dangling from the latticework.
The Chinese New Year limited-edition menu will be available at Hakkasan starting on January 31, from 6pm until 12midnight with last order at 11.30pm.
