His Highness the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani issued Tuesday Amiri Decision No. 2 of 2022 restructuring the Board of Trustees of Qatar University.
The decision stipulated that the Board of Trustees of Qatar University be reconstituted under the chairmanship of His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Hamad al-Thani, HE Sheikh Dr Abdullah bin Ali bin Saud al-Thani as Vice Chairman, and the membership of HE Ali bin Ahmed al-Kuwari, HE Dr Hanan bint Mohammed al-Kuwari, HE Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Qassim al-Thani, HE Buthaina bint Ali al-Jabr al -Nuaimi, HE Mohammed bin Ali al-Mannai, HE Dr Saleh bin Mohammed al-Nabit, HE Abdulaziz bin Nasser al-Khalifa, HE Dr Hessa bint Sultan al-Jaber, Sheikh Abdullah bin Ahmed bin Abdullah al-Thani, Nasser Khalil al-Jaidah, and the chairman of the board may add a number of people with competence, experience and scientific status to the membership of the board from inside or outside the country.
The decision is effective starting from its date of issue and is to be published in the official gazette.
