Qatar panel to start disbursing cash to needy Gaza families

The Qatar Committee for the Reconstruction of Gaza will start on Tuesday disbursing January cash assistance to needy families in the Gaza Strip, in co-operation with the Qatar Fund for Development (QFFD), QNA reported.

In a statement, HE the Chairman of the committee Ambassador Mohamed al-Emadi said that cash assistance of $100 per family will be provided to about 97,000 needy families in the governorates of the Gaza Strip. He pointed out that the distribution process will take place through the United Nations at 300 centres and shops in the governorates.
