HE the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohamed bin Abdulrahman al-Thani met on Sunday with the visiting President of National Coalition for Syrian Revolutionary and Opposition Forces Salem al-Meslet, and President of the Syrian Negotiating Commission (SNC) Anas Abdah. During the meeting, HE Sheikh Mohamed stressed Qatar's position that there must be a political solution in accordance with the Geneva-1 Declaration and the full implementation of Security Council Resolution 2254. He also emphasised the importance of reaching a comprehensive ceasefire that contributes to facilitating the delivery of humanitarian aid into Syria.
