Qatar's Minister of Transport HE Jassim Seif Ahmed al-Sulaiti and Saudi Arabia's Transport and Logistic Services Minister engineer Saleh bin Nasser al-Jasser on Thrusday discussed in Doha about setting a date to begin studying about a rail link between the two brotherly countries.

In a meeting at the Ministry of Transport headquarters, they also discussed aspects of co-operation in the fields of transportation, civil aviation, ports and railways, and ways of further enhancing them.

The meeting was attended by several officials, Qatari transportation industry representatives, and members of the delegation accompanying the Saudi minister.
HE al-Sulaiti and the Saudi minister also visited the Doha Metro project Thursday. They inspected its operations and were briefed on the aspects of the project by officials representing Qatar Railways Company. Chairman of the Transport General Authority of Saudi Arabia, Dr Rumaih Mohammed al-Rumaih participated in the tour.
