Temperatures dropped considerably across Qatar Wednesday, owing to fresh to strong northwesterly wind as forecast earlier by the Met office.
While a maximum of 20C was recorded at Mesaieed, the minimum dipped to 10C at Al Khor. Moderate to strong winds and high sea were also reported. The forecast for Thursday is a minimum of 9C at Al Khor, but a maximum of 28C at Mesaieed.
The warning of strong winds inshore and offshore continues for Thursday. The Met office has also forecast chances of mist to fog formation at places during late night and early morning hours from Saturday until the end of next week, leading to a drop in horizontal visibility to less than 2km and zero visibility at times."Please be careful and follow latest updates through our official accounts," Qatar Meteorology Department tweeted Wednesday.
