Al Dhakhira region recorded the highest rainfall in Qatar, reaching 69.6mm, while the lowest rainfall was in the northern region of Simaisma at 23mm, Abdullah al-Mannai, director of the Meteorological Department at the Civil Aviation Authority said.

"Scattered rain received across the rest of the country was less than 16mm," he told local Arabic daily Arrayah while hinting that chances of rain still exist. Due to the shift of the winds to northwesterly, there will be a noticeable drop in temperatures.
Al-Mannai stressed that the rates of rainfall in the country are in line with the average. The rainfall in some areas in the country were: Al Shahimiya - 55.9mm, Al Jumailia - 5.26mm, Ras Laffan - 43.9mm, Al Khor - 38.4mm, Ruwais - 43.6mm, Umm al-Hawaya - 37.9mm, and as for the rest of the regions, it was between 2mm to 14mm.



Al-Mannai advised the public to follow the updates issued by the Meteorological Department on social media, and to check the weather and warnings before undertaking any outdoor or marine activity.
