Ashghal has announced an eight hour overnight partial closure on Al Shamal Road towards north between Al Gharrafa (Immigration) Interchange (IC) and Duhail IC, along with a closure on Al Shamal Road towards Doha between Umm Lekhba IC and Al Gharrafa IC on Friday (Jan 7) from 2am to 10am. During the closure, motorists heading north can turn right at Al Gharraf IC onto Khalifa Street, then go left onto Jasim Bin Hamad Street towards Al Khafji Street and turn left at Jelaia Intersection towards Duhail IC and Al Shamal Road. Road users heading for Doha can turn right at Duhail IC onto Al Gharraf Street and Khalifa Street, while keeping traffic open to road users heading for Sabah Al Ahmad Corridor and Al Markhiya Street at Umm Lekhba IC.
