Department of Meteorology in its daily weather report warned of thundery rain associated with strong wind and poor visibility at places Sunday night.
Weather inshore Sunday night until 6am on Monday will be partly cloudy to cloudy with scattered rain which can be thundery at times with blowing winds at places at first, the report said.

Offshore, it will be partly cloudy with chance of scattered rain, thndery at places at times, the report added, warning of thundery rain, strong wind and high sea.
Wind inshore will be southwesterly to northwesterly at a speed of 06 to 18 knot, gusting to 24 knot at times.
Offshore, it will be mainly southwesterly at a speed of 12 to 22 knot, gusting to 35 knot at times.
Visibility will be 4 to 8km which can be 2km or less at places at times.

Sea state inshore will be 2 to 4 feet surging to 5 feet at times. Offshore, it will be 3 to 7 feet, surging to 12 feet at times.
