Qatar Charity (QC) organised an event at "Ain Helitan" at Al Khor Corniche, which included entertainment and heritage activities, and competitions on the occasion of Qatar National Day.
This was in conjunction with other events organised in Aspire Park and Katara Cultural Village. During the event, the guest of honour, Dr. Ahmed bin Hamad al-Hassan al-Mohannadi, a member of the Shura Council, was honoured by Faisal bin Rashid al-Fahida, assistant CEO of the Programmes and Community Development Sector.



Dr al-Mohannadi presented the shield to the people of Al Khor, considering his honour a tribute to the city. Journalist Ahmed bin Ibrahim al-Mohannadi said that QC's participation in such events organised at the state level highlights its role in community service and contributes to introducing the culture of humanitarian work and the patterns of its activities.
Fatima al-Mohannadi, director of Local Programmes and Community Development at QC, said that celebrating National Day is one of the beautiful aspects that can be invested in reviving heritage, raising children’s awareness of their heritage.
Jaber Youssef Jaber Nasr, an employee of the Ministry of Municipality, said that QC excelled in its celebration and presented beautiful activities that attracted children, made families happy, and brought joy and pleasure to all attendees.
Dana Ali Saleh al-Yafei expressed her happiness in participating with the children. Aisha Ahmed Ali Hassan al-Mohannadi, a little girl, expressed her admiration for the events and said they were good, and she participated in the competitions.
