The Shura Council participated Saturday in the ninth forum of Global Organisation of Parliamentarians Against Corruption, which was held on the sidelines of the ninth Conference of the States Parties to the United Nations Convention against Corruption, hosted by Sharm El-Sheikh in Egypt.
The Shura Council was represented in the meeting by HE Dr Ali bin Fetais al-Marri, HE Nasser bin Mutref al-Humaidi, and HE Salem bin Rashid al-Muraikhi, members of the Council. A number of parliamentarians and members of the convention participated in the conference. It is worth noting that Qatar has chaired the Global Organization of Parliamentarians Against Corruption since 2019.
