In line with the country's celebrations of the National Day, Gulf Warehousing Company (GWC), the leading logistics provider in Qatar, organised a blood donation drive recently. The drive, held at Logistics Village Qatar in partnership with Hamad Medical Corporation, saw 67 donors participating, as part of GWC’s efforts to give back to the community.
GWC Group CEO Ranjeev Menon expressed his appreciation for GWC employees and HMC for ensuring that the campaign was a success. In a statement, Menon said: “Volunteering to donate blood is a cornerstone of our corporate social responsibility goals, and an effective way to encourage employees to engage with the society and make a positive contribution."
GWC and HMC have repeatedly co-operated to organise blood donation drives and have witnessed a constant increase in employees volunteering to be a part of this noble cause.
