Vodafone Qatar, in partnership with Asfary and Safe Flight Solutions, has been officially announced as the Telecom Partner of the Qatar Balloon Festival, which was launched on December 9 at Aspire Park and runs until December 18.
The festival in its second edition brings more than 40 hot air balloons with a wide diversity of colours, shapes and designs.
Besides the balloons, the festival offers a variety of stage activities and competitions targeting families and tourists in the lead-up to Qatar National Day.
As part of the partnership and commitment, Vodafone is providing the festival’s organisers with a suite of world-class services such as Push-to-Talk services, which will enable them to connect with more than 80 users.
Marshals will be able to communicate easily with the captains of the balloons, ensuring smooth operations and spectacular results for those watching the shows, a press statement notes.
Vodafone will also provide dedicated Business Unlimited Plans to welcome captains and marshals visiting Qatar to experience seamless connectivity and a successful event.
To bring even more joy and anticipation to the local community, Vodafone has also partnered with Asfary and Safe Flight Solutions to produce a fully branded Vodafone hot air balloon, which will be traveling across Qatar’s skies for the next three years.
This collaboration is a continuation of the role that Vodafone Qatar has been playing in supporting Qatar’s hosting of local and international events across sports, entertainment and culture.
The company’s network is playing a vital part in delivering an excellent experience for event participants and organisers, the statement adds.
