Vodafone Qatar was awarded as one of the most valuable companies in Qatar in terms of its market capitalisation, by the Forbes Middle East at its Digital Qatar Symposium & Awards 2021 event.
The awards honoured top performing companies, startups and business leaders in the country and the region.
Representing Vodafone Qatar at the awards and on behalf of Sheikh Hamad al-Thani, CEO, Vodafone; Ramy Boctor, chief technology officer, Vodafone received the award at the in-person event in Doha.
He said: “We are so proud to be one of the top companies recognised as the most valuable in Qatar by Forbes Middle East. This is testament to all the work we do to provide innovative and sustainable solutions to our community. We want to continue providing value through our groundbreaking technology solutions, and leading the digital transformation of our country in order best service the consumers and businesses in our market.”
The hybrid summit on December 8 gathered Qatar's top government and industry leaders as well as pioneers of innovative technology under one roof to discuss current market trends and challenges during a series of panel discussions, followed by the awards ceremony.
