The Gleaming FIFA Arab Cup 2021 Trophy has been showcased Tuesday afternoon at the prestigious Aspire Academy as part of its tour of many schools and other public and private institutions in the country. The trophy of around five kg of weight, which has a solid gold base and features Arabic calligraphy and a map of the Arab world, was displayed on the Aspire Academy Indoor Football Pitch for the academy staff and student athletes to take memorial pictures to mark this important football event just one year away from the biggest ever event “FIFA World Cup -Qatar 2022”.
The academy staff and student athletes said to be excited about the presence of this prestigious trophy in their premises, and this was best seen in the mass attendance in the indoor football pitch.
“I am very excited, as a football player, to pose with this nice Arab Cup that 16 Arab national teams are competing hardly to raise it at the end of the championship. I hope that our Qatari national team will be the winner of this prestigious trophy,” said Rashid Mazeed, a football student-athlete at Aspire Academy.
