The State of Qatar participated in the 32nd session of the Ordinary General Assembly of the International Maritime Organization (IMO), held at the headquarters of the organization.
The Qatar delegation was headed by HE the Minister of Transport Jassim bin Saif Al Sulaiti. The delegation also included HE the Director of Department of International Organizations at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Ambassador, Ali bin Khalfan Al Mansouri.
The meetings of the 32nd session of the Assembly will discuss issues related to the safety and security of maritime navigation and the protection of the marine environment. This session will also witness the elections of the Executive Council of the Organization.
