HE the Assistant Foreign Minister and Spokesperson for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Lolwah bint Rashid AlKhater met in Jakarta on Tuesday with Indonesian Foreign Minister Retno Lestari Priansari Marsudi, during her current visit to Indonesia. During the meeting, they reviewed bilateral relations, and the situation in Afghanistan, especially in the humanitarian, health and educational aspects. Both sides stressed the importance of the role of women in Afghanistan, and the need for their presence in all sectors of the country. The Indonesian minister noted Qatar's effective role in achieving peace and stability in Afghanistan, adding that her country seeks, through its co-operation with Qatar, to communicate with the Afghan caretaker government to contribute to improving the humanitarian conditions and educational and health services in Afghanistan, stressing the importance of unifying the efforts of the international community in this regard.
On the other hand, HE AlKhater signed the visitor book of the Indonesian Foreign Ministry.
