Qatar Tourism in partnership with Mowasalat (Karwa) has announced the start of the voting period for its "Iconic Limousine Design" competition.
With over 450 submissions, the contest has seen overwhelming participation from citizens and residents. Qatar Tourism's committee reviewed each entry, shortlisting 20 designs that best reflect the competitions themes: Qatar's culture and heritage, progressive future, as well as sustainability and eco-friendly vision.
The public vote will take place from 23rd November to 14th December 2021. The design which garners the most public votes will receive the "People's Design Choice" award. A jury panel will also evaluate the shortlisted designs and select the winning design which will be featured on Qatar's Iconic Limousines.
Chief Operating Officer Qatar Tourism Berthold Trenkel said that this design contest is part of Qatar Tourisms efforts to celebrate the country's cultural identity and heritage. As part of Qatar Tourisms Service Excellence program, this iconic limousine service will be a visual representation of the country for visitors, he added.
Qatar Tourism works closely with stakeholders across the public and private sector to develop products and services that enhance the visitor experience. The entitys partnership with Mowasalat is an example of that, fostering collaboration and ensuring a seamless journey, with luxury and excellence at each touchpoint.
