The General Tax Authority (GTA) has announced the launch of new services on their Dhareeba Portal, offering taxpayers an easier and faster way of using these services. The latest services by the General Tax Authority, simplify tax procedures, and meet the future requirements of the State that include achieving the complete link between all companies directly related to tax operations to achieve the strategy and vision of Qatar 2030, GTA said in a press statement Sunday.

These new services include: Objection, a service that enables taxpayers to file objections against decisions issued by the General Tax Authority. Appeal, a service that enables taxpayers to file grievances against the decisions issued by the General Tax Authority before the two Tax Grievance Committees. Income Tax (downloading and uploading the file in Excel format), a service that enables taxpayers to download and upload an excel file containing the details of the data and information required for some items of the tax declaration, which are difficult to be entered directly on the form of the tax declaration in the "Dhareeba" System. In addition to Suggestions and Complaints, a service that enables taxpayers and the public to submit complaints and suggestions, as well as filing reports on suspicions of tax evasion.

Financial Transaction History, a service that enables taxpayers and the General Tax Authority to view a detailed statement of all the financial tax transactions regarding all the various due amounts, paid amounts, and refunds. Excisable Goods Export / Re-Export, a service by which the Designee may submit a notice to the Authority regarding the intention to export or re-export selective goods to be able to submit a refund application through Dhareeba Tax Portal later. Damaged Selective Goods Refund Notice Service, is a service by which the Designee may submit a notice regarding the damaged or lost selective goods through Dhareeba Tax Portal.  

Damaged/Lost Excisable Goods Refund, is a service by which the Designee may submit an application to refund the selective tax paid for the damaged or lost selective goods for which the damaged or lost goods notification is served through Dhareeba Tax Portal, Export – Re-Export Refund, is a service by which the Designee may submit an application to refund the selective tax paid for the selective goods in export and re-export of selective goods to submit the export and re-export notification through Dhareeba Tax Portal.

In addition, Intermediary Excise Goods Refund (used in the production of other selective goods), is a service that enables the Designee registered at the selective tax to submit a notification for a refund of selective tax paid for selective goods used in the production of other taxable selective goods and; Special ET Refund – Diplomat, it is a service by which diplomatic and consular authorities, international organizations, and heads and members of diplomatic and consular authorities certified at the State may submit an application for refund of selective tax paid for selective goods through Dhareeba Tax Portal.

The launch of these services comes under the authority's interest to further develop its digital services and provide new electronic services that are aligned with its aspirations, and at the same time, meet the aspirations of taxpayers and contribute to accelerating and facilitating tax transactions.

The General Tax authority affirmed its keenness to simplify and facilitate the tax procedures through approved digital channels and enable companies to manage their tax accounts as per international tax standards in an accurate, flexible and timely manner.
