The Qatar General Electricity & Water Corporation (Kahramaa) has held a brainstorming workshop to raise the level of co-operation and co-ordination between the corporation and Qatar Research, Development and Innovation (QRDI) Council.
The workshop was held in the main building of the corporation.
Co-operation will be achieved by opening the door for constructive discussions and using the best methods of research while thinking about the issues and challenges being faced by Kahramaa employees and projects, a statement noted.
This will be done to get the best recommendations, decisions and proposals that contribute to overcoming these challenges while raising the level of institutional performance and achieving the best results in all infrastructure and service projects.
The workshop was attended by a group of heads of technical departments concerned with water, electricity and energy efficiency at Kahramaa and included presentations that covered the ways to deal with the difficulties that the corporation and its cadres might face, as well as presenting ways to enrich the creative thinking capable of providing solutions and proposals that help determine problems and their easy resolution in the most efficient way.
The workshop focused on several projects affiliated with Kahramaa. These included the study of ways to cool renewable energy systems to arrive at creative ideas, innovative projects and new possibilities in order to address the issue of the high temperature of electrical power generation systems through solar energy, which is one of the most important issues with these systems.
